Help: Quick Search

You can use the Quick Search at the top of every page to perform a keyword search across all content within the John Johnson Collection.

Tip: If you enter multiple keywords e.g. theater music into the Quick Search they will be joined together by the boolean operator AND e.g. theater AND music. This will return results containing the word "theater" and the word "music".

To search for an exact phrase enter the words in quotation marks e.g. "rip van winkle".

If you wish to search for a phrase containing a reserved term such as and, or, not e.g. hue and cry you should enter the words in quotation marks e.g. "hue and cry".

You can use other Boolean and proximity operators to combine search terms.

The Quick Search includes all full records. See the Quick search results help page for more information.
